We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Mål for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the source code.
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from the app.
• Use Mål for commercial purposes without our written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers or another user's account.
• Transmit malware, spam, or any code that could harm other users or our systems.
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the app.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and must provide accurate, truthful information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove accounts that violate these terms, provide false information, or engage in abusive, threatening, or otherwise harmful behaviour.

AI-generated meal plans and nutrition insights are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

If you have a medical condition — including diabetes, heart disease, eating disorders, pregnancy, or food allergies — consult a qualified healthcare professional before relying on Mål's recommendations.

AI outputs are generated from the information you provide and may contain errors. Mål is not liable for recommendations based on inaccurate data you supply.

Free tier: includes 5 AI meal generations per calendar month. Credits reset on the 1st of each month and do not carry over.

Premium tier: offers unlimited AI meal generations, advanced insights, and AI coaching. Subscriptions are managed via RevenueCat and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Payment card details are handled directly by the App Store or Google Play — we never store them on our servers. Refunds are subject to the relevant app store's policy.

Mål lets you share shopping lists and recipes with other users. Sharing is entirely opt-in — recipients must accept before receiving your content, and you can revoke access at any time.

Shared content may include your display name and profile image. Do not share sensitive personal information through this feature. We are not responsible for disputes between users regarding shared content.

Mål, its logo, and all original content are owned by Mål or its licensors. You may not use our trademarks or branding without our prior written consent.

Content you create — your recipes, notes, and meal data — remains yours. By using Mål you grant us a limited licence to process that content in order to provide the service. By sending us feedback or suggestions you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation.

Mål is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
• Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.
• Interruption or unavailability of the app.
• Errors or inaccuracies in nutritional information.
• Third-party service outages (Supabase, RevenueCat, Google Gemini API).

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the preceding 12 months (or €0 if you are on the free tier).

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Hellenic Republic (Greece). Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Greece.

We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted in the app with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Mål after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.

We collect the following types of information:

• Personal information — when you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, and other necessary details.
• Nutrition & health data — if you log meals or receive dietary recommendations, we may collect data related to your preferences, goals, and health.
• Pantry data — information about the food items you store in your virtual pantry, including expiry dates.
• Usage information — data on how you interact with the app, such as features used and time spent.
• Device information — data related to your device, operating system, and IP address, for security and optimization.

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve Mål's features, including AI-powered meal planning and dietary recommendations.
• Offer personalized nutrition insights and pantry management.
• Connect you with real-life nutritionists, if applicable.
• Enhance user experience and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. However, we may share it with:

• Nutritionists & experts — if you opt for professional consultations.
• Third-party service providers — to facilitate app functionalities like data storage and analytics.
• Legal authorities — when required by law or to protect against fraudulent activity.

We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no digital system is completely secure.

You can:

• Access, update, or delete your personal data.
• Opt out of certain data collection practices.

You can request the deletion of your Mål account and associated personal data at any time. Once we receive your request, we will delete your account information, including your profile details, pantry contents, and nutrition data, within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain data for legal or regulatory purposes.

To request deletion, send an email with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the app, and continued use of Mål means you accept the revised policy.
